Since 2012, Meredith Singer has been a practicing attorney in New York. Meredith’s prior job experience includes associate attorney positions at boutique matrimonial/family law firms in New York City. During her tenure, Meredith gained first-hand experience providing legal advice to a diverse set of clients in uncontested divorces, contested divorces, and child support cases. Meredith has drafted countless pleadings and motions, defended and conducted depositions, prepared for trials and first-chaired Family Court trials. In addition, Meredith was also a staff attorney in the Brooklyn office of the Children’s Law Center where she represented children in custody, guardianship, visitation, paternity, family offense and special immigrant juvenile status proceedings. 

Meredith’s empathetic but straight forward approach has been appreciated by her clients. While Meredith first seeks to settle a case amicably, she also recognizes that settlement is not always possible when dealing with a difficult and unreasonable adversary. When litigation is necessary, Meredith fervently advocates for the best interests of all of her clients.
